Possible final preview? Not if you were watching this game. Gezer scored early and often, capturing a 13-0 victory on Friday at Modi'in Amphi. This was the team's 2nd shutout of the season, and the 7th time (out of 14 regular season games) allowing 3 runs or less.

Ten runs in the first three innings allowed the Gezer Bats to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Asher Halperin, a wild pitch, and an RBI triple by Dean Saban in the first inning and an error, a wild pitch, an RBI single by Ealley Chorev, a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Matan Boltax, and a wild pitch during the second inning fueled the Gezer Bats' offense early.

Dean went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Gezer Bats. Other hitting stars: Ofek Yaakobi added 2 hits, [Moshe Aloof] added 2 hits and 2 runs scored, and Halperin also had 2 hits and 3 runs scored.

Boltax brought the heat against Modi'in during his outing. He held Modi'in hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out seven. Avi Paley, Chorev, and Yotam Cohen-Amin closed out the pitching for the Bats.
