Matan Boltax went 2-2, sparking the Gezer Bats to a 10-6 victory in six innings over BS Bombers on Friday at Gezer.

He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

In the bottom of the first, the Gezer Bats grabbed the early lead, 1-0. The Gezer Bats attack began with a single from Matan. A single by Asher Halperin then moved Matan from first to second. Itai Dabush singled, scoring Matan.

The game was never in doubt after the second, as the Gezer Bats scored three runs on a two-run double by Matan and a walk by Nehemiah Merdinger.

After pushing across one run in the top of the third, BS Bombers faced just a 4-2 deficit. An RBI single fueled BS Bombers' comeback. The BS Bombers threat came to an end when Avi Paley finally got a key strikeout.

After a quick strike from BS Bombers, the Gezer Bats responded with four runs in the third. The Gezer Bats scored on a solo home run by Itai, a wild pitch, a wild pitch, and an RBI double by Ealley Chorev.

After pushing across two runs in the top of the fourth, BS Bombers faced just a 8-4 deficit. A wild pitch and a wild pitch gave BS Bombers life. Finally, Evan Milgram threw out the runner trying to steal 2nd base, to end the threat.

Two runs in the top of the fifth helped BS Bombers close its deficit to 9-6. A two-run single set off BS Bombers rally.
